Below are some of the questions we get asked frequently about our Wedding Videography services. If there's something we haven't quite covered, or if you have your own questions for us - please don't hesitate to contact us via email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Do I need a Wedding Film?
Simply, yes. Wedding Videography is increasingly becoming more popular within modern-day weddings, and with the advancements in technology and social media, the possibility of having your very own, personal wedding film, captured and edited to a professional, cinematic standard - is now a lot more possible and affordable. It is safe to say that hiring a Photographer is an absolute “must” on your Wedding Checklist, a Photographer can capture those moments of your big day in beautiful still images, but why shouldn’t a Wedding Videographer also be a priority on your checklist? With our Wedding Videography, we capture the laughter, the nerves, the preparation, along with motion and emotion conveyed through cinematic storytelling - something you simply can’t quite visualise through photos alone.

Each wedding film we produce is different from the last and has its own unique story to tell. With your own wedding film, we aim to showcase the best day of your life in the best possible way, and we achieve this by focusing on all the fine details from cinematic coverage, linear and non-linear storytelling, colour grading and sound design. With our Wedding Highlight Films, you should expect a finished product within 1-2 months of your wedding date. As for Documentary Wedding Films, these can take up to approximately 2-4 months to complete into a final product. *Timespans are approximate
How do you record audio for the Vows & Speeches?
For recording Ceremony Audio (Vows, Exchanging of Rings etc.) we typically attach a small, inconspicuous lapel microphone to the Groom, which is powerful enough to pick up both voices of the Bride and Groom throughout the Ceremony. With regards to Speeches, we will generally record externally from the DJ’s microphone to capture the cleanest audio possible. We’ll often contact your chosen DJ ahead of time to discuss plans on how we can work together with them to achieve this.
Is all the equipment you use safe?
Yes, all of our electrical equipment has been PAT-tested and certified to-date.
Do you have any examples of your work?
Do you also offer Wedding Photography?
At this moment in time, we do not offer Wedding Photography as a part of our existing packages or as a separate service. At Sheridale Productions, we do not consider ourselves a Jack of All Trades and have devoted a considerable amount of years developing our skill set and cinematic style within Wedding Videography exclusively. Ensuring that every wedding we shoot is done to a professional standard.
