At the heart of it all, Highlight films are the epitome of Sheridale’s work. They are vivid with emotion - embodying the true essence of your Wedding Day and make the perfect keepsake that you can share online with all your family and friends.
Our Highlight Films typically last between 5-10 minutes - depending on the day’s events and your story. With the Simplicity Package, we start your wedding day by arriving 1-2 hours before your Ceremony to capture the venue in all its glory before your guests arrive, and shoot right through until the end of your First Dance.
Not every couple is overly-fussed about being filmed getting ready, but that doesn’t stop us from creating a stunning wedding film!

THE AUDIO
Narration is one of the key elements that bring our films to life! To help bring context to your film, we use dedicated microphones and recorders to capture crystal-clear audio of your ceremony, vows, readings and speeches for later use in the Edit. We’re also able to provide microphones and speakers for use on your wedding day - at no extra cost - if your venue or DJ are unavailable to.
Sound is actually 50% of a movie - that’s just how important sound is. (Just try watching your favourite movie with no sound… trust us, it’s hard!)
THE VISUALS
Coming from a background in Film Production, we’ve both carried our expertise across into wedding filmmaking. Our approach to how we shoot your day is with the creative eye in-mind, and if the cameras aren’t rolling, we are more than likely determining how we can creatively-compose our next shot.
THE MUSIC
Whilst on the subject of Sound, the next most-important aspect to the footage and audio is the Music. We take extra care in selecting the right soundtrack for your wedding film, ensuring that it fits the mood of the wedding and that we’re able to invoke emotion during key moments. If we aren’t feeling joyous or a little teary by the end of a wedding film - then we wouldn’t be doing our job right!
THE EDITING
And finally, this is where the magic happens! Taking all that fabulous footage, amazing audio and mesmerising music and intertwining it with your unique love story brings us to the finished product - your Wedding Highlights film! The editing process itself is always a creative challenge, sometimes it can take up to 2 weeks just to find the right storyline, but once everything is laid out - whether it be linear or non-linear - the results are ALWAYS outstanding!
