Kelham House offers exclusive use from midday, with the choice of holding your civil ceremony either outdoors beneath the garden gazebo or indoors within the manor house. The venue can accommodate up to 100 guests for the ceremony and wedding breakfast, increasing to 180–200 guests for the evening reception. For those wishing to stay overnight, on-site accommodation includes 12 boutique en-suite bedrooms across the manor house and coach house.

One of Cleaver & Wake's standout features is its unique canalside location, combining the convenience of a city-centre wedding with a surprisingly peaceful backdrop. Exposed steelwork, brickwork, concrete, and floor-to-ceiling arched windows create a stylish industrial aesthetic that's both elegant and effortlessly contemporary. Its central Nottingham location also means guests are within easy walking distance of hotels, bars, and many of the city's most recognisable landmarks, making it a fantastic choice for couples planning a stylish urban celebration.

Food is another highlight. As an award-winning restaurant, Cleaver & Wake has earned an excellent reputation for exceptional dining, ensuring the wedding breakfast is just as memorable as the venue itself. The exclusive upstairs event space can accommodate up to 100 guests for indoor civil ceremonies and up to 200 guests for the evening reception.

Although we haven't yet had the opportunity to film a wedding at Hodsock Priory, it's a venue that's firmly on our wishlist. Located on an 800-acre estate on the Nottinghamshire and South Yorkshire border, this exclusive country house wedding venue stands out for its stunning architecture, beautifully landscaped grounds, and elegant ceremony spaces.

Steeped in history, Hodsock Priory has welcomed royalty for centuries. During the Middle Ages, lavish celebrations were held here for kings including Henry II, King John, and Edward I. In 1541, Sir Gervase Clifton built the impressive Tudor Gatehouse to welcome King Henry VIII, who later bestowed a knighthood upon his host. Today, the magnificent brick gatehouse remains the estate's oldest surviving feature, offering couples and guests a spectacular first impression on arrival.

Following its Gothic Revival transformation in the 19th century, Hodsock Priory has become one of Nottinghamshire's most distinctive wedding venues.
